Privacy Policy
JyotishAI is a free astrology experience. This policy explains what information the website and Android app may use and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
You may provide your name, date and time of birth, birthplace, mobile number, email address, astrology questions, AI-chat messages and reading preferences. You may read and chat without an account; recent guest chat may remain in your browser or app storage. When you choose to sign in and save a report, Firebase Authentication manages your login and Cloud Firestore stores your private profile, latest chat and reading history.
Cookies and analytics choice
Essential browser storage keeps your language, guest reading, chat and consent preferences on your device. Firebase Analytics starts only after you select “Allow analytics” in the cookie prompt. If allowed, analytics may include reading selections, completion events, device, browser, approximate region and interaction information. Choosing “Essential only” does not block readings or chat.
How information is used
Information is used to personalise readings, improve the experience, maintain security, understand product performance and provide requested account or support services. When you request an AI reading, the birth details and reading type entered for that request are processed through Firebase AI Logic and Google’s Gemini service to generate the response.
Sharing and selling
JyotishAI does not sell personal information. Information is processed by essential service providers, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase App Check and Firebase AI Logic, only to operate, secure and improve requested features.
Retention and deletion
Device-local details remain until you clear the site or app data. Signed-in profile and reading information remains until you delete the relevant history or account. You may request deletion through our account-deletion page.
Children
JyotishAI is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
